Symptoms

IGBT overcurrent detected in output stage.

Possible Causes

  • IGBT module short circuit
  • Output cable short
  • Motor winding short

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Disconnect motor and power on drive
    Fault clears without load
  2. Step 2: Megger test motor windings
    Insulation > 1 MOhm
  3. Step 3: Replace drive if IGBT is shorted
    New drive runs motor normally

How to Reset

Power cycle; replace drive if IGBT is shorted.
