Symptoms
Short circuit detected on drive output.
Possible Causes
- Motor cable short between phases
- Motor winding short to ground
- Output IGBT module short
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Disconnect motor cables and power on drive
Fault clears without load - Step 2: Megger test motor and cable
Insulation > 1 MOhm - Step 3: Replace drive if IGBT module is shorted
New drive runs motor normally
How to Reset
Power cycle after fixing the short circuit.
