Power module HB1/HB2 short circuit detected.

Possible Causes

  • HB1 or HB2 IGBT module short circuit
  • Gate driver failure causing IGBT shoot-through
  • Power module internal damage

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Power cycle the drive
    Fault may clear if transient
  2. Step 2: Inspect IGBT module for physical damage
    No burn marks or swelling
  3. Step 3: Replace power module if fault persists
    New module initializes without fault
