Symptoms
Short circuit detected on motor cable or output stage.
Possible Causes
- Motor cable short between phases
- Motor winding short circuit
- Output IGBT module failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Disconnect motor cables and power on drive
Fault clears without motor load - Step 2: Megger test motor windings phase-to-phase and to ground
Insulation > 1 MOhm - Step 3: Inspect output cable insulation
No short between phases
How to Reset
Power cycle the drive after fixing the short circuit.
