Symptoms
The bypass source frequency is outside the acceptable range. The UPS cannot sync to bypass.
Possible Causes
- Utility power frequency deviation
- Generator frequency instability
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the bypass source frequency
Frequency is outside the rated range - Step 2: Wait for the utility frequency to stabilize or switch to a stable source
Frequency returns to within range
How to Reset
To reset: Wait for the bypass frequency to stabilize, then the UPS will sync.
