Symptoms
The bypass source voltage is outside the acceptable range. The UPS cannot transfer to bypass.
Possible Causes
- Utility voltage sag or swell
- Bypass transformer tap setting incorrect
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the bypass source voltage
Voltage is outside the rated range - Step 2: Wait for the voltage to stabilize or adjust the transformer tap
Voltage returns to within range
How to Reset
To reset: Restore the bypass voltage to within range, then the UPS can transfer to bypass.
