Symptoms
The compressor reports high discharge pressure. The output pressure exceeds the maximum safe operating limit.
Possible Causes
- Minimum pressure valve stuck closed
- Aftercooler or air dryer blocked
- System demand too low causing short cycling
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the minimum pressure valve operation
Valve opens at the correct pressure - Step 2: Inspect the aftercooler and air dryer
Components are clear and unrestricted - Step 3: Verify the system demand matches compressor capacity

How to Reset
To reset: Lower the discharge pressure, then reset the high-pressure protection.
