MicroFlex
Symptoms
The MicroFlex reports a communication fault. The network link to the host controller or fieldbus is down or timed out.
Possible Causes
- Communication cable damaged or improperly terminated
- Network configuration mismatch between the drive and controller
- Electrical noise on the communication line causing data errors
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the communication cable for continuity and proper termination
Cable is intact and properly terminated - Step 2: Verify the communication parameters match between the drive and the controller
Parameters are identical on both ends - Step 3: Install shielded communication cable and ensure proper grounding
Communication is stable without data errors
How to Reset
To reset: Restore the communication link, then reset the fault.
