Symptoms
The system has no more handles available. New handle allocation requests fail.
Possible Causes
- Too many open handles consuming the system handle pool
- Application not releasing handles after use
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the number of open handles in Task Manager
Handle count is at the system limit - Step 2: Close applications leaking handles or restart the system
Handle count returns to normal
How to Reset
To reset: Close handle-leaking applications or restart the system.
