Applicable Systems
AquaSnap
Symptoms
System pressure has exceeded the high-pressure safety limit. The unit has shut down to prevent over-pressurization damage.
Possible Causes
- Condenser cooling capacity insufficient
- Refrigerant overcharge or non-condensables present
- Flow restriction in the condenser circuit
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check condenser water flow rate and temperature
Flow rate and temperature within design range - Step 2: Verify refrigerant charge level and purge non-condensables
Charge correct, no non-condensables detected - Step 3: Inspect condenser tubes for fouling or blockage
Condenser tubes clean and unrestricted
How to Reset
To reset: Reset the high-pressure switch after confirming condenser capacity is restored.
