Symptoms
Shutdown - Low oil pressure. The engine has shut down due to critically low oil pressure.
Possible Causes
- Low engine oil level
- Oil pump failure or oil filter clogged
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the engine oil level with the dipstick
Oil level is below minimum - Step 2: Inspect for oil leaks and check the oil pressure sensor
Leak found or sensor is faulty
How to Reset
To reset: Fix the oil level or pressure issue, then reset the controller.
