Symptoms
An expansion module failed to initialize during power-up. The module is not ready for operation.
Possible Causes
- Module hardware initialization sequence failed
- Module power-up sequence interrupted
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Power-cycle the PLC and check if the module initializes
If 0026 persists, module hardware is defective - Step 2: Verify the module power supply and connections
Power supply and connections are normal
How to Reset
To reset: Power-cycle the PLC. If the error persists, the module is defective.
