Symptoms

Short circuit: output short circuit detected.

Possible Causes

  • Motor cable short
  • Motor winding short
  • Output IGBT short

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Disconnect motor and power on
    Fault clears without load
  2. Step 2: Megger test motor and cable
    Insulation > 1 MOhm
  3. Step 3: Replace drive if IGBT shorted
    New drive runs motor

Reset via control panel after fixing short circuit.
