The CNC system displays alarm 430: n AXIS: SV. MOTOR OVERHEAT. The servo motor's built-in thermal sensor has detected that the motor temperature has exceeded the trip threshold. The servo system trips to protect the motor from insulation damage.

- Sustained high-load operation exceeding the motor's thermal capacity
- Motor cooling fan stopped or insufficient airflow to the motor
- Mechanical overload causing high current draw and I2R heating
- Motor insulation degradation reducing its thermal tolerance
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the motor temperature using the CNC diagnostic screen (DGN No. 308 for motor temperature)

Fan should run freely; air passages should be clear; clean or replace as needed - Step 3: Measure the actual motor current during operation
