Symptoms
The printing press reports excessive ink roller temperature. The ink roller temperature has exceeded the safe operating limit, affecting print quality.
Possible Causes
- Cooling water flow to the ink rollers insufficient
- Ambient temperature in the press room too high
- Ink roller bearings worn causing friction heat
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the cooling water supply to the ink rollers
Water flow meets the specification - Step 2: Verify press room ambient temperature is within range
Temperature is between 18 and 28 degrees C - Step 3: Inspect ink roller bearings for wear and noise
Bearings rotate smoothly without abnormal noise
How to Reset
To reset: Lower the ink roller temperature below the threshold, then clear the alarm.
