Symptoms
The sensor signal voltage is below the expected minimum. The control module interprets this as a fault condition.
Possible Causes
- Sensor output too low due to internal failure
- Wiring short to ground
- Reference voltage supply missing
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Measure sensor signal voltage at the control module
Voltage below expected minimum - Step 2: Check wiring for short to ground
No short to ground found - Step 3: Verify sensor reference voltage supply
Reference voltage present
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the DTC after restoring the sensor signal to the valid range.
