Symptoms
No signal activity is detected from the sensor. The control module receives no data from this input.
Possible Causes
- Sensor not generating signal due to failure
- Wiring open circuit between sensor and module
- Sensor power or ground missing
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check sensor power and ground supply
Power and ground present at sensor - Step 2: Test wiring continuity from sensor to module
Wiring has full continuity - Step 3: Replace sensor if power and ground are present but no signal
Signal present after sensor replacement
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the DTC after restoring sensor signal activity.
