Symptoms

Fuel injector circuit open for bank 1; ECM cannot control fuel delivery to those cylinders; engine may misfire or not start.

Possible Causes

  • Fuel injector wiring open circuit
  • Injector connector disconnected
  • ECM injector driver failure

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Check injector resistance (12-17 ohm typical)
    Resistance within range
  2. Step 2: Check injector connector for corrosion
    Connector clean and seated
  3. Step 3: Check injector pulse with noid light
    Noid light flashes (pulsing)
  4. Step 4: Trace wiring from injector to ECM for opens
    No open circuits found
  5. Step 5: Replace injector or repair wiring as needed
    All injectors pulse correctly

Clear DTC with OBD-II scanner after repair.
