Symptoms
A solenoid or actuator is stuck in one position. The system cannot control the component properly.
Possible Causes
- Solenoid mechanically seized due to debris
- Electrical fault preventing solenoid actuation
- Hydraulic pressure preventing movement
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Test solenoid electrical resistance and operation
Solenoid electrically functional - Step 2: Inspect for mechanical binding or debris
Mechanical obstruction removed - Step 3: Check hydraulic pressure and flow to the component
Pressure and flow within range
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the DTC after freeing or replacing the stuck component.
