Symptoms
The instrument cluster may be blank or show incorrect readings. Warning lights may not illuminate or stay on. DTC U0185 is stored by a control module that lost communication with the Cluster module.
Possible Causes
- CAN bus wiring fault to cluster
- Cluster power supply fault
- Cluster internal failure
- Cluster connector not seated
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Connect a diagnostic scanner and read all module DTCs to confirm U0185
