Symptoms
A control module has received invalid or implausible data from another module on the CAN bus. The receiving module may disable affected functions. DTC U0995 is stored by a control module that lost communication with the Invalid Data module.

- Intermittent CAN bus communication fault
- Sending module software fault producing incorrect data
- CAN bus noise or interference
- Module configuration mismatch
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Connect a diagnostic scanner and read all module DTCs to confirm U0995

CAN high and low lines intact, 60 ohms across the bus - Step 3: Verify power and ground supplies to the affected module
