Applicable Systems
CJ/CS Series
Symptoms
The CJ/CS Series reports an EEPROM fault. Parameter data stored in the non-volatile memory failed verification, indicating corruption.
Possible Causes
- EEPROM write cycle interrupted by power loss
- EEPROM cell degradation due to excessive write cycles
- Electrical noise corrupting data during the EEPROM write operation
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Reload the default parameters and reconfigure the drive settings
Parameters are restored to known-good values - Step 2: Save the parameters to EEPROM and verify the write operation
EEPROM write completes without error - Step 3: If the error recurs, the EEPROM chip may be defective requiring drive replacement
New drive stores parameters without errors
How to Reset
To reset: Reload and re-save parameters, then cycle power and restart.
