Symptoms
The elevator reports a door lock circuit open. The car or landing door lock circuit is interrupted.
Possible Causes
- Door lock contact worn or misaligned
- Door lock switch wiring damaged
- Door not fully closed preventing lock engagement
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check all door lock contacts for alignment
Contacts align and make correctly - Step 2: Verify door lock circuit wiring continuity
Circuit is complete and intact - Step 3: Ensure doors fully close and lock
Doors close and lock securely
How to Reset
To reset: Repair the door lock circuit, then reset the controller.
