Symptoms
The battery system reports low cell temperature. The battery cell temperature is below the minimum operating limit.
Possible Causes
- Ambient temperature too low for battery operation
- Battery heating system not functioning
- Cold soak condition during winter operation
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify the ambient temperature at the installation
Temperature is above the minimum - Step 2: Check the battery heating system operation
Heater activates and warms the cells - Step 3: Wait for the battery to warm above the minimum
Temperature rises above the threshold
How to Reset
To reset: Raise the cell temperature above the minimum, then clear the alarm.
