Symptoms
A signal wire or cable fault has been detected. The controller cannot read position or speed feedback.
Possible Causes
- Wire broken by flexing or vibration
- Connector corroded or loose
- Cable shielding damaged causing signal noise
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check cable continuity end to end
Continuity confirmed or break located - Step 2: Inspect connectors for corrosion and tightness
Connectors clean and tight - Step 3: Replace damaged cable and verify signal integrity
Signal stable with new cable
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the wire fault after repairing or replacing the cable.
