Symptoms
The boiler reports a flame detection fault. The flame sensor is not detecting the burner flame.
Possible Causes
- Flame sensor electrode contaminated or worn
- Flame sensor wiring damaged
- Flame rectification circuit fault
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Clean the flame sensor electrode
Electrode is clean and free of deposits - Step 2: Check the flame sensor wiring and connector
Wiring is intact and connector is secure - Step 3: Test the flame rectification circuit
Circuit detects flame correctly
How to Reset
To reset: Repair the flame detection system, then reset the boiler.
