Symptoms
Reverse rotation detection
Possible Causes
- E5-11 PG origin pulse compensation set improperly
- PG replaced or motor rotation direction changed
- Motor driven by external force
- PG cable noise interference
- PG cable wiring incorrect or broken
- F1-05 rotation direction mismatch
- Magnetic pole position detection failed
- n8-84 polarity discrimination current too small
- Initial magnetic pole estimation failed
Troubleshooting Steps
- Set E5-11 correctly per motor nameplate
- Perform Z-pulse position self-learning
- Check motor rotation direction; investigate external force cause
- Ground PG cable shield
- Check PG cable wiring/breaks
- Connect motor U/V/W phases correctly
- Check U6-57; increase n8-84 if <819
- Increase n8-84 above factory value
- For IPM motor: perform high-frequency overlap self-learning
- Restart; if persists, replace PG card or PG
How to Reset
Reset by: 1) Correct the fault condition. 2) Press RESET button on operator panel. 3) Verify fault does not recur.
