- Rotating component imbalance or misalignment
- Bearing wear or failure
- Foundation or mounting loose
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Measure vibration amplitude and identify dominant frequency
Vibration source identified - Step 2: Check alignment and coupling condition
Alignment within tolerance - Step 3: Inspect bearings for wear and replace if necessary
Bearings in good condition or replaced
How to Reset
To reset: Clear the vibration alarm after bringing vibration within acceptable limits.
