Symptoms
The motor nominal values in parameter group 99 are incorrectly set or inconsistent. The drive cannot properly identify or control the motor with the current settings.
Possible Causes
- Motor rated voltage, current, or power in parameters 99.04-99.07 do not match the motor nameplate
- Motor rated speed or frequency is incorrect
- Motor type selection (99.03) does not match the actual motor type
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check all motor nameplate data against drive parameters in group 99
All parameters match the nameplate exactly - Step 2: Verify the motor type selection (induction, permanent magnet, etc.)
Motor type is correctly selected - Step 3: Run the motor identification routine (ID Run) after correcting parameters
ID Run completes successfully
How to Reset
To reset: Correct the motor parameters and run ID Run. The warning clears automatically when parameters are correct.
