Symptoms
The UPS output is overloaded beyond its rated capacity. The overload alarm is active.
Possible Causes
- Total load exceeds the UPS rated capacity
- Inrush current from a connected device exceeding the limit
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the total load connected to the UPS
Load exceeds rated capacity - Step 2: Reduce the load by disconnecting non-essential devices
Load is within the rated capacity
How to Reset
To reset: Reduce the load below the UPS rated capacity and the alarm will clear.
