Symptoms
The TwinCAT System Service has not been started. TwinCAT functions are unavailable.
Possible Causes
- TwinCAT Service not installed or not set to auto-start
- Windows Service startup failure
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Open Windows Services and check if TwinCAT System Service is running
Service status shows Stopped - Step 2: Start the service manually and set it to Automatic
Service starts and TwinCAT functions are available
How to Reset
To reset: Start the TwinCAT System Service from Windows Services and set it to Automatic.
