Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Error Code C0410

Bosch Rexroth PLC & VFD Major Brake

Model: IndraDrive | Code: C0410

Applicable Systems
IndraDrive

Symptoms

The IndraDrive reports a braking resistor overheat fault. The braking resistor temperature exceeded the safe limit due to excessive regenerative duty.

Possible Causes

  • Regenerative duty cycle exceeding the resistor power rating
  • Braking resistor value incorrect causing excessive current
  • Frequent deceleration cycles without adequate cooling time

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Reduce the deceleration frequency or increase the decel time
Regenerative energy per cycle is reduced
  2. Step 2: Verify the braking resistor matches the drive specified rating
Resistor rating is adequate for the application
  3. Step 3: Upgrade to a larger braking resistor if duty cycle cannot be reduced
Larger resistor handles the regenerative load

How to Reset

To reset: Allow the resistor to cool, reduce regenerative duty, then reset.
