Symptoms
The generator set reports a low battery voltage. The battery voltage is below the minimum for starting.
Possible Causes
- Battery charge insufficient or battery degraded
- Battery charger failure
- Battery cable loose or corroded
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the battery voltage
Voltage is above the minimum for starting - Step 2: Verify the battery charger operation
Charger maintains the battery - Step 3: Inspect battery cables and terminals
Cables are tight and terminals are clean
How to Reset
To reset: Charge or replace the battery, then clear the alarm.
