Symptoms
The generator set reports a reverse power trip. The generator is absorbing power from the grid.
Possible Causes
- Generator output insufficient to carry the load
- Parallel operation synchronization error
- Engine power loss while paralleled

Output is positive and delivering load - Step 2: Verify the parallel operation settings
Synchronization is correct - Step 3: Check the engine power output
Engine delivers rated power
How to Reset
To reset: Resolve the reverse power condition, then reset the protection.
