Symptoms
The generator set reports a high exhaust temperature. The engine exhaust gas temperature exceeds the limit.
Possible Causes
- Fuel injection timing incorrect
- Valve clearance incorrect
- Air intake restriction from clogged filter

- Step 1: Check the exhaust temperature
Temperature is within the normal range - Step 2: Verify the fuel injection timing

Clearance is within specification
How to Reset
To reset: Resolve the high exhaust temperature, then clear the alarm.
