Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check telematics module power supply fuse
Fuse intact, +12V at module - Step 2: Inspect antenna cable for damage
Cable continuity < 5 ohm - Step 3: Restart satellite antenna power cycle
Module reboots and acquires signal - Step 4: Update Telematics system firmware via Cat ET
Firmware version current - Step 5: Verify GPS signal strength on Cat ET diagnostic screen
Signal strength > 4 satellites tracked
