Symptoms
Warning - Oil pressure sensor fault. The oil pressure sensor reading is abnormal.
Possible Causes
- Oil pressure sensor element failure
- Sensor wiring short or open circuit
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the oil pressure sensor wiring and resistance
Wiring is damaged or resistance is abnormal - Step 2: Replace the oil pressure sensor
New sensor reads correctly
How to Reset
To reset: Replace the oil pressure sensor, then acknowledge the warning.
