Symptoms
The crane reports wheel flange wear. The travel wheel flanges show excessive wear.
Possible Causes
- Track misalignment causing wheel scrubbing
- Wheel bearings worn allowing excessive play
- Crane skewing during travel
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check track alignment and gauge
Track is aligned within tolerance - Step 2: Inspect wheel bearings for play
Bearings are tight within specification - Step 3: Verify the crane travels straight without skewing
No skewing detected
How to Reset
To reset: Correct the track alignment or replace wheels, then clear the alarm.
