Symptoms
The welding system reports a drive roller slip. The wire feed drive roller is slipping on the wire.
Possible Causes
- Drive roller pressure too low
- Drive roller groove worn smooth
- Wire surface contaminated with oil
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Adjust the drive roller pressure
Roller grips wire firmly without slipping - Step 2: Inspect and replace worn drive rollers
Roller groove matches the wire size - Step 3: Clean the welding wire surface
Wire surface is clean and dry
How to Reset
To reset: Adjust or replace the drive roller, then clear the fault.
