Symptoms
The FRENIC reports a capacity mismatch fault. The drive capacity rating does not match the connected motor capacity.
Possible Causes
- Drive and motor capacity mismatch beyond the allowable ratio
- Motor capacity parameter set incorrectly
- Wrong drive model installed for the application
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Compare the drive and motor nameplate capacity ratings
Capacity ratio exceeds the allowable limit - Step 2: Set the motor capacity parameter to match the motor nameplate
Parameter matches the actual motor - Step 3: If the drive is undersized, replace with a correctly rated unit

How to Reset
To reset: Correct the capacity matching, then reset and restart.
