FRENIC
Symptoms
The FRENIC reports a momentary power loss detection. The input power was lost briefly and the drive entered a power-fail sequence.
Possible Causes
- Momentary power outage on the supply line
- Loose input power connection causing intermittent contact
- Power supply breaker tripping and auto-reclosing
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the input power wiring for loose connections
All power connections are tight - Step 2: Monitor the supply voltage for dips using a power analyzer
Voltage is stable without dips - Step 3: Configure the zero-volt ride-through or auto-restart if supported
Drive recovers from brief power dips
How to Reset
To reset: Restore stable power, then reset the fault or auto-restart.
