Symptoms
The FRENIC reports a cooling fan fault. The internal cooling fan has stopped or is operating below the required speed.
Possible Causes
- Cooling fan bearing failure or blade obstruction
- Fan power supply or control circuit failure
- Fan reached end of life with degraded motor
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the cooling fan for free rotation and clear any obstruction
Fan rotates freely without obstruction - Step 2: Verify the fan power supply voltage at the fan connector
Fan receives correct voltage - Step 3: Replace the cooling fan if it is defective or not spinning
New fan operates at the correct speed
How to Reset
To reset: Replace or repair the cooling fan, then reset the fault.
