Symptoms
The boiler reports a system pump fault. The circulator pump is not operating correctly.
Possible Causes
- Pump motor failure or overload
- Pump run capacitor failure
- Air lock in the pump or system
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Test the pump motor operation
Motor runs without abnormal noise - Step 2: Check the pump run capacitor
Capacitor is within rated value - Step 3: Bleed air from the pump casing
Pump circulates without air
How to Reset
To reset: Repair or replace the system pump, then clear the alarm.
