Applicable Systems
SK
Symptoms
The SK reports a ground fault. Leakage current to ground was detected at the drive output, indicating insulation failure.
Possible Causes
- Motor cable insulation damage causing current leakage to ground
- Motor winding insulation breakdown to the motor frame
- Water or moisture ingress in the motor junction box or cable
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Disconnect the motor cable and test motor winding insulation with a megger
Insulation resistance is above the minimum threshold - Step 2: Inspect the motor cable for physical damage or water ingress
Cable is intact and dry - Step 3: Repair or replace any cable or motor with failed insulation
Ground fault is cleared after repair
How to Reset
To reset: Fix the ground fault, then reset the fault via the keypad or cycle power.
