Symptoms

The Hydraulic reports a stall prevention activation. The motor stalled or was about to stall, and the drive reduced output to protect the motor.

Possible Causes

  • Excessive load torque causing motor stall during acceleration
  • Motor parameters incorrect causing insufficient torque production
  • Mechanical jam or binding preventing motor rotation

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Check the mechanical load for jams, binding, or excessive friction
    Mechanical system rotates freely
  2. Step 2: Verify the motor parameters match the motor nameplate
    Parameters are correctly set
  3. Step 3: Increase the acceleration time or torque limit if load is high
    Motor accelerates without stalling

How to Reset

To reset: Clear the stall condition, then reset and restart.
