Applicable Systems
Hydraulic
Symptoms
The Hydraulic reports a speed deviation fault. The actual motor speed deviated from the command beyond the allowed tolerance.
Possible Causes
- Load torque transient causing temporary speed deviation
- Speed loop gain too low to track rapid command changes
- Encoder feedback noise causing false speed calculation
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the load for sudden torque changes
Load is stable without sudden changes - Step 2: Increase the speed loop gain within stability limits
Speed deviation is within tolerance - Step 3: Filter the encoder feedback signal to reduce noise
Speed feedback is clean and accurate
How to Reset
To reset: Reduce the speed deviation within tolerance, then reset.
