Symptoms

The Hydraulic reports a speed deviation fault. The actual motor speed deviated from the command beyond the allowed tolerance.

Possible Causes

  • Load torque transient causing temporary speed deviation
  • Speed loop gain too low to track rapid command changes
  • Encoder feedback noise causing false speed calculation

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Step 1: Check the load for sudden torque changes
Load is stable without sudden changes
  2. Step 2: Increase the speed loop gain within stability limits
    Speed deviation is within tolerance
  3. Step 3: Filter the encoder feedback signal to reduce noise
Speed feedback is clean and accurate

How to Reset

To reset: Reduce the speed deviation within tolerance, then reset.
