Symptoms

Overcurrent detected in the power stage. The drive immediately trips and disables the IGBT output. The motor stops abruptly. The HMI shows F8060.

Possible Causes

IGBT power module short circuit
Motor winding short between phases or to ground

Mechanical load jam causing extreme current spike
Current measurement circuit failure giving false reading

Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1: Disconnect motor power cables (U, V, W) from the drive

Phase-to-phase resistance balanced within 5%; insulation to ground > 1MOhm
