VF-AS1
Symptoms
The VF-AS1 reports an auto-tune failure. The automatic motor parameter measurement did not complete successfully.
Possible Causes
- Motor not connected or connected incorrectly during auto-tune
- Motor load present during auto-tune preventing accurate measurement
- Motor parameters entered are too far from actual values for convergence
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Verify the motor is connected and wiring is correct in the drive
Motor is properly connected - Step 2: Remove any load from the motor before running auto-tune
Motor shaft is free to rotate without load - Step 3: Enter the motor nameplate parameters before running auto-tune
Parameters are entered and auto-tune converges
How to Reset
To reset: Correct the motor connection and load, then retry auto-tune.
