Symptoms
The ambient temperature sensor reports a fault. The controller cannot read the ambient temperature correctly.
Possible Causes
- Sensor element failure or open circuit
- Sensor wiring damaged or disconnected
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the sensor resistance at the controller terminals
Resistance is out of the expected range - Step 2: Replace the sensor if the resistance is abnormal
New sensor reads correctly
How to Reset
To reset: Replace the faulty sensor and power-cycle the controller.
