Symptoms
Compressor overheating. The compressor discharge temperature or casing temperature is too high.
Possible Causes
- Insufficient cooling from the condenser
- Low refrigerant charge causing high superheat
Troubleshooting Steps
- Step 1: Check the condenser fan and airflow
Fan is not running or airflow is restricted - Step 2: Verify the refrigerant charge and superheat
Charge is low or superheat is high
How to Reset
To reset: Fix the cooling or charge issue, then reset the controller.
